Tiara grew up in Pittsburgh, PA! Her passion for the beauty industry began when she went natural at just 11 years old! She had a bad experience with a relaxer which caused her to take a deep dive into YouTube & began to find out what the curly girl method was all about! She went to cosmetology school right after high school because she knew the industry was calling her name! Ever since then her goal has been to educate her clients & make them feel as beautiful as possible in the curls they are in! Currently, Tiara services clients in Atlanta, GA & Pittsburgh, PA! Are you accepting new clients? The Curl Babes is at capacity & is no longer accepting new clients at this time! How should I prepare for my appointment? Please come to your scheduled appointment with your hair down & how you naturally style your curly hair from day to day! This will ensure that The Curl Babes can see where your natural curl pattern is falling & will give her a more accurate presentation so that she can give you the best service possible! Please do not bring anyone extra to appointments other than the client scheduled. It is a small suite style salon & there is no extra space for others in suite! Late Policy: If you are 15 minutes or later your appointment will be automatically cancelled & we will have to reschedule for a different day! If you are a NO CALL NO SHOW there will be no charge, but you will be banned from booking with The Curl Babes! Reschedule Policy: I understand that life happens & you may need to reschedule! You can only reschedule one time with the same deposit as the original appointment booked. Appointments booked: If you schedule an appointment for a specific service & you no longer want that service & want a different service instead please contact The Curl Babes. For example - if you schedule for a Dry Curly Cut + Wash n style & decide that you want to change it to just a Wash n Style please contact The Curl Babes or else you will be charged for the original appointment that was scheduled. Timing is specific to each service so please be mindful! Response Time: There is a 24-48 hour response time frame when it comes to emails & texts. I do try to get back to you all as soon as possible, but it will only be on my business hours not my downtime. Children clients: Unfortunately, at this time we are no longer accepting any children clients under the age of 18. Curl Types: Personally I do not go by curl typing! I never have! You can have multiple curl types in one head of hair so it is not the best “scale” to go by in my opinion! With that being said ALL CURLS ARE WELCOME in The Curl Babes salon!
